Wood Vinegar for Plants (Gardens & Agriculture)

Benefits for Plants:
  • Improves root development
  • Stimulates beneficial soil microbes
  • Helps suppress harmful fungi and bacteria
  • Acts as a natural pest deterrent
Application Rates – Plants
Soil Application (Beds, Rows, Fields):
  • Dilution: 1:200 – 1:500
  • Apply as a soil drench or through irrigation
Foliar Spray:
  • Dilution: 1:300 – 1:500
  • Spray early morning or late afternoon
  • Avoid spraying in full sun
Seed Treatment:
  • Dilution: 1:1,000
  • Soak seeds for 30 minutes – 1 hour
  • Dry before planting
How to Apply:
  1. Measure correct amount of wood vinegar
  2. Dilute fully with clean water
  3. Mix well
  4. Apply evenly to soil or leaves
Frequency:

Always start with the weakest dilution and observe animals.

Frequency:
  • 1–2 times per week or as needed
